Smart & Hard Surface Repairs

Chips, cracks, dents and scratches repaired at your home or business, usually in a few hours, for far less than replacing the item. It can feel like magic: chips, burns and dents disappear in a few hours, at a fraction of the cost of a replacement.

What we repair

  • Baths and shower trays — enamel, acrylic and steel
  • Basins, sinks and toilets
  • Wall and floor tiles
  • Worktops — laminate, granite, stone and quartz
  • Doors, frames and fire doors
  • uPVC and aluminium window and door frames
  • Laminate and wood floors — single chips without lifting boards
  • Stainless steel — counters, splashbacks, lift doors and appliances
  • Walls and wallpaper — dents, holes and tears patched in
  • Furniture and shop fittings — chips and scuffs in wood, laminate and painted finishes

Two levels of repair

  • Hand touch-up — quick and low-cost, typically makes the damage about 40–60% better
  • Colour-matched respray — filled, sanded, colour-matched, sprayed and sealed, typically about 70–90% better
  • A repair is always a repair: we never promise it will be invisible, and on heavy-wear areas it will not last as long as a new surface

For homes, landlords and businesses

  • Homeowners and tenants — put damage right before it becomes a bigger job, or before the end of a tenancy
  • Landlords, letting agents and property managers — end-of-tenancy and handover repairs
  • Restaurants, shops and offices — wall, door and fitting damage repaired around your opening hours
  • Builders and developers — snagging repairs before handover

How it is priced

Repairs are charged by the hour plus materials, for the time on site, plus VAT. Wood, doors, laminate and walls: £112.50 for the first hour, £198 for two hours, £283.50 for three and £67.50 for every hour after that. Specialist work — baths, basins, tiles, stone worktops, uPVC and stainless steel — starts at £198 for about two hours, then £85.50 an hour. Typical jobs: a chipped bath or shower tray about £198, a chipped laminate worktop or dented door about £112.50, a stone worktop chip about £198. Several repairs on the same visit are added up by the hour, so you pay for the total time, not a minimum for each one. Send us a photo and we will give you a guide price before we come.

Questions we are often asked

What is smart repair?

Smart repair means fixing a damaged surface where it is, instead of replacing it: we fill, colour-match and refinish chips, burns, cracks and dents on site, usually in a few hours.

What can you repair?

Chips, cracks, dents and scratches in baths and shower trays, basins and sinks, wall and floor tiles, worktops, doors and frames, uPVC and aluminium, stainless steel, walls and wall panels, and laminate and wood floors.

How much does a hard surface repair cost?

Most repairs are charged by the hour on site: £112.50 plus VAT for the first hour. Specialist repairs (baths, sinks, tiles, stone worktops, uPVC, stainless steel) start at £198 plus VAT for about two hours, then £85.50 an hour.

Will the repair be invisible?

We never promise invisible. A quick touch-up improves damage by around half; a full colour-matched respray repair typically gets 70 to 90 percent of the way.

Is it cheaper than replacing?

Almost always. A repair usually takes a few hours on site, with no removal, fitting or disposal costs.

All prices are guides and exclude VAT.
